Benta was also asked who would now handle her rent following the separation.

She explained that she had been paying her own rent before Steve moved in with her, appearing to dismiss speculation that she depended on him financially.

But the livestream took another turn when Benta appeared to reference past conflicts involving other people.

“It’s okay nimeshaachwa, sasa niko na freedom ya kuuza. Wakati Jennifer alikuwa ananidhalilisha akitumia hadi akina Cheche, sijui Steve alikuwa wapi hiyo time,” she said.

She later urged her followers to follow her alternative TikTok account for future livestreams.

The situation left her fearing that something had gone seriously wrong during the operation.

Githinji said she even started wondering whether doctors had discovered more severe endometriosis in another part of her body.

But a nurse eventually reassured her that the numbness was temporary and was caused by medication administered during the surgery.

That brought some relief.

The recovery, however, was far from easy.

She spent approximately three days in ICU as she recovered and was monitored by doctors.

Despite the frightening experience, Githinji said the ordeal strengthened her faith.

Looking at the situation through the story of King Hezekiah in the Bible, she said she found herself asking God for another chance at life.

2Mbili’s history on the road has attracted attention over the past two years.

In September 2024, he survived a serious night-time crash while travelling with fellow content creators Presenter Ali and Jackie Ogaga. The vehicle was extensively damaged, but everyone escaped without major injuries.

Then, in October 2025, he crashed a BMW into a lorry in Kitengela after attending a funeral in Juja. The impact caused major damage to the vehicle’s front end and triggered the airbags.

In February 2026, another accident followed. His Mitsubishi Lancer rolled after he lost control on a wet bend in Keroka.

And just days ago, on August 12, 2026, 2Mbili was involved in yet another crash that heavily damaged his customised BMW.
