Rewind your thoughts to nearly a month ago, and you may recall the initial glimpses emerging from The Boy And The Heron, signaling the unexpected return of filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki to his beloved Studio Ghibli, despite his retirement on multiple occasions. Several versions of the film are currently in the works, including an original Japanese edition with English subtitles and an English-language dubbed version.

The Boy And The Heron does not yet have a confirmed release date in the UK, and there is no information about a distributor either.
However, it is scheduled to be screened at the London Film Festival next month, and US audiences can anticipate its release on December 8th.
