Sex Education Confirmed To End With Season 4 On Netflix

Accompanying the release of a new trailer is the confirmation that Season 4 will mark the end of our journey with Otis, Eric, Maeve, and the rest of the gang, premiering on Netflix on September 21.

Creator Laurie Nunn shared a bittersweet letter to fans, expressing the difficult decision to conclude the show with its fourth installment. As the themes and narratives of the new season took shape, it became evident that this was the appropriate time to bid farewell and graduate from Moordale. You can read the full letter here:


The trailer for the final season of Sex Education offers few clues about the direction the story will take. However, it does introduce us to the new setting of Cavendish Sixth Form College, where Otis, played by Asa Butterfield, confidently presents himself as a sex therapist to his fellow students and even ventures into the world of sending explicit photos.

Meanwhile, Otis’s mother Jean has welcomed a new baby, and Maeve seems to have returned to her familiar surroundings, despite seemingly accepting a scholarship in America at the conclusion of Season 3. You can watch the trailer here:
