Kenya and Tanzania gets hold of global film platform
“The latest Pan-African romantic comedy, “Married to Work,” was released on Netflix on February 10th, 2023. Directed by Philippe Bresson, the concept for the film was created by Idris Sultan. Angela Ruhinda and Nadira Shakur penned the screenplay and also served as co-producers through Okada Media.
The film has a runtime of approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes and was filmed in Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, and Zanzibar. The plot follows a Kenyan woman with big ambitions who must pretend to be married to her Tanzanian boss in order to save his business from going bankrupt.”
