Isaya Yunge, husband to Charlene Ruto, has broken his silence over viral claims alleging he previously fathered a child with a white ex-wife.
The speculation exploded online after photos and video clips surfaced showing Yunge spending time with a young child. Social media users quickly began connecting the images to claims about his past relationships.
But Yunge has now set the record straight.
He says the child is his niece, not his daughter.
According to Yunge, the girl is the daughter of his brother, Dr. David Wachira, who is married to a white woman.
Yunge also expressed anger over the child being dragged into online speculation, warning that he could take legal action against people spreading what he described as false and unverified claims about his family.
“The child is my niece,” Yunge said, arguing that a minor had been unnecessarily pulled into social media drama.
The controversy comes amid heightened public interest in Yunge’s private life following his high-profile marriage to President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto.
Since their wedding, social media users have closely followed the couple, with Yunge’s personal and family history coming under increased scrutiny.
Yunge maintains that the circulating photos simply show him spending time with his niece and has urged an end to the speculation.
