Hit drama series “Shaka iLembe” greenlit for season 2
The first season of SHAKA ILEMBE was marked by its breathtaking visuals, outstanding acting, faithful cultural representation, and enthralling narrative. It depicted the beginnings of the iconic African King Shaka.
The season concluded with Shaka’s triumphant return to claim the Zulu throne. In Season 2, the series will continue as Shaka begins his prophesized reign.
MultiChoice CEO General Entertainment, Nomsa Philiso, expressed gratitude for the show’s strong support and renewed the commitment to honoring King Shaka’s legacy with a second season. The series introduced viewers to various African cultures and iconic characters in a tale filled with love, war, loss, betrayal, sacrifice, and triumph.
