Another Terminator Movie
James Cameron, the creator of the Terminator franchise, has revealed that he is considering making another film in the series and that it would focus more on artificial intelligence rather than malfunctioning robots.
“If I were to do another Terminator film and maybe try to launch that franchise again, which is in discussion, but nothing has been decided, I would make it much more about the AI side of it than bad robots gone crazy,” Cameron revealed on the SmartLess podcast
However, due to his current work on the Avatar series, he would likely hand over the project to another filmmaker, similar to how he passed on Terminator: Dark Fate to Tim Miller. Cameron also discussed the underperformance of Terminator: Dark Fate, acknowledging that his insistence on including Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton in the film, despite their advanced ages, may have contributed to its failure to resonate with audiences.
